Privacy of the app
Fourtile Debt Payoff, the app for iPhone. Last updated: October 4, 2026
The short version
Your debts stay on your phone: we never receive them. We do not sell data, show ads or use trackers.
Who we are
Fourtile Debt Payoff, the app for iPhone, is run by Diyar Saadullah, Rue de Montchoisy 46, 1207 Genève, Switzerland, who is responsible for your data. For anything about your data: hello@fourtilehq.com.
Your debts
What you type (names, balances, rates, payments, notes) is saved in the app, on your phone. We never receive it. Your phone’s own backup (iCloud) may include it, under your account. You can erase it at any time in Settings.
Fourtile Plus
Plus and its 30-day free trial go through the App Store (Apple), under Apple’s own privacy policy. Apple takes the payment, and we never see your card. The App Store tells the app on your phone that Plus is yours. Apple sends us only sales totals that do not say who you are.
Reminders
If you turn on reminders (a part of Plus), your phone makes them itself, from the numbers in the app. Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else. You can turn them off in Settings, or in your phone’s settings.
Messages to us
If you write to hello@fourtilehq.com, we use your address and your message only to answer you. We do not add your address to any list.
What we never do
We do not sell or share your data, use advertising or analytics trackers, build profiles, or make automatic decisions about you.
Storage on your phone
The app keeps your data in its own storage on your phone, so it works without a connection. There are no cookies.
Who helps us
Apple delivers the app and sells Plus, under its own privacy policy. Our email runs on Infomaniak, in Switzerland, which may use it only to provide its service to us, and on Google (Gmail), under Google’s own privacy policy. Through Gmail, a message may be stored in the USA. Google is certified under the Swiss-U.S. and EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which Switzerland and the EU accept as safe. A link to fourtilehq.com opens our site, which has its own privacy page.
Why we may use your data (Europe and the UK)
We answer your messages because you asked us to (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)), and keep them while it helps to follow up (our legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)). Everything else stays on your phone, so there is nothing else for us to use.
How long we keep it
On your phone: until you delete it, or delete the app. Emails with us: as long as it helps to follow up, and deleted whenever you ask.
Your rights
You can see, copy, correct or delete your data, and take it with you: Settings has Save a backup file and Delete all data on this device. Or write to hello@fourtilehq.com; we answer within 30 days. You can also complain to the Swiss FDPIC or to the data protection authority where you live.
Children
Fourtile is made for adults, not for children. The app collects nothing from anyone, children included.
